Toscotec will take part in Tissue World Miami from 16th to 18th March 2022 to showcase its energy-efficient tissue technology and forthcoming innovations.
Toscotec is set to introduce pioneering technologies aimed to decarbonize the tissue manufacturing process and propel the industry’s green transition to using fossil free energy sources. These technologies include 100% hydrogen burners, electric heated Yankee hoods, biomass boilers, and other forthcoming innovations, which are designed to achieve top machine speed and production capacity.

Toscotec will make two contributions at the Tissue World Miami Conference:
- Yankee Dryer Operations Workshop on 15th March 2022 will be moderated by John Holton, Customer Service Coordinator & Technical Support at Toscotec North America, including an interactive discussion of numerous safety, operations, and maintenance topics around Yankee dryers
- 16th March 2022 at 15:15: Toscotec’s Sales Manager Gabriele Romanini will deliver a technical presentation on the theme “A Pathway to Decarbonize the Drying Process” focusing on the technologies that Toscotec is offering to make an effective use of fossil free energy sources in the production process, and Toscotec’s continued world leading engineering efforts to significantly reduce the energy demand of both Conventional and TAD tissue machines.
The teams of Toscotec North America and Toscotec Italy will be at booth B60 of the Miami Beach Convention Center from March 16th through 18th.

Costs for all main raw materials, energy and freight have massively increased during recent months and continue to rise. The surge in costs has been further intensified by the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Decisionmakers must also realise that Europe needs to address its dependence not only on energy imports, but also on fossil-based materials. The European economy can further minimise its fossil fuel needs by tapping into the potential of bio-based value chains to substitute carbon-intensive materials. To further build the resilience of the European economy, we call on the European Commission to reconsider its approach to renewable, bio-based products.
