ANDRITZ to supply automated threading systems for Klingele Paper in Nova Campina, Brazil

International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from Klingele Paper & Packaging Group in Nova Campina, Brazil, to supply automated threading systems for paper machines PM1 and PM3 producing various paper packaging grades. The systems will be installed in 2023.

With an increased focus on safety and reducing paper break time, Klingele Paper aims to automate the tail threading process in the press and reel sections. ANDRITZ developed a threading solution for both machines that will fully automate the process to increase the safety for the operators and decrease the web break time to gain a higher productivity.
